யாழ். நல்லூரைப் பிறப்பிடமாகவும், தற்போது கனடா Toronto ஐ வசிப்பிடமாகவும் கொண்ட விஜயதர்ஷினி கனகலிங்கம் அவர்கள் 29-06-2024 சனிக்கிழமை அன்று இறைபதம் அடைந்தார்.

அன்னார், காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான கோபாலசிங்கம் மகேஸ்வரி தம்பதிகளின் அன்பு மகளும், காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான கந்தையா, பாக்கியம் தம்பதிகளின் அன்பு மருமகளும்,

கனகலிங்கம் அவர்களின் ஆருயிர் மனைவியும்,

வாசுகி, வாமதி, சபேசன் ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு தாயாரும்,

பிரியதர்ஷினி சிறிசண்முகநாதன், சுவர்ணதேவி பாலசந்திரன், ரஞ்சினிதேவி உலகநாதன், சிவயோகினி கரிகரன் ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு சகோதரியும்,

காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான நவரட்ணம், மகேஸ்வரி ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மைத்துனியும்,

அகன் துரைராஜா, Rachel Beingessner ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மாமியாரும்,

அனன்யா, கவிஷன், ரிஷிகன் ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு பேத்தியும் ஆவார்.

Vijayadharshini Kanagalingam, affectionately known as Raasathi, peacefully passed away on June 29, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.

She was the daughter of late Gopalasigam and Maheswary and daughter-in-law of late Kandiah and Paakiyam.

She was the beloved wife of Kanagalingam and a devoted mother to Vasugi, Vamathy, and Sabeshan and mother-in-law to Akan and Rachel.

She cherished her grandchildren Ananya, Kaveeshan, and Rishikan.

She is the sister of Priyatharshini Srishanmuganathan, Swarnadevi Balachandran, Ranjinidevi Ulaganathan, and Sivayogini Hariharan. She was also the sister-in-law of late Navaratnam and Maheswari.

Vijayadharshini's life was defined by her love and dedication to her family, in Sri Lanka and Canada. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on her community and beyond. In accordance with her beliefs, she now embarks on her spiritual journey, joining her Lord Siva and awaiting his guidance for her next chapter.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have shared in her life.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
