It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Thinakaran Rajathurai, who departed this life peacefully on December 25, 2025, in Maryland, USA. Born on November 18, 1946, in Kondavil, Sri Lanka, Thinakaran’s journey took him from his homeland to Colombo, Bahrain, and eventually to Maryland, where he spent his final years. He was a man of the world who remained deeply connected to his roots and his family.
Thinakaran was the beloved son of the late Mr. Rajadurai and Mrs. Manonmani. He is survived by Kanthi, his wife and mother of his children and their families - Prabhath (Son) , his wife Alicia, and their sons Nalin and Deven, Roshini (Daughter), her husband Gilmar, and their son Samuel.
He was the dear brother of the late Mathanakaran, late Karunakaran, and late Prabhakaran, Baskaran (Canada) and Ambika (United Kingdom).
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the many expressions of sympathy and support during this difficult time.
