No words can express how deeply shocked I am by Rani Aunty’s sudden death. She was very special to me as I was her oldest nephew. This brings back lots of happy memories, including her wedding when I was just six. Aunty, who comes from a family of four sisters with three of them living in Jaffna, all their children grew up happily very close to one another. Besides being a good aunt, she will be remembered as an able and loving mother even though, sadly, she lost hers at birth. My profound sympathies go out to especially Sithappa and all others in the family.
