It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing in his sleep of Theagarajah Shanmugarajah on Tuesday, 18 January 2022. Known with affection as Appah, Dad, Appappa, Shan, Shan uncle, Chinniah, Mamma and Assaithamby. He is survived by his devoted and ever-loving wife Shanthakumari Shanmugarajah (née Thuraiappah); his ever loving sons Sai Shanker, Sai Shanthan and Sai Shanathan; his everloving daughters-in-law Amy and Hannah; and his adored and much treasured grandchildren (for whom he was affectionately Appappa) Annika Riya, Isla Lily and Theo Otis.

He is also survived by his adored and ever-loving sisters Yogeswary (née Theagarajah) Sabaratnam, Maheswary (née Theagarajah) Ganeshamoorthy, and Parameswary (née Theagarajah) Balasingham; and his ever-loving brothers-in-law Saba Sabaratnam, Ganesh Ganeshamoorthy and Bala Balasingham.

He was also beloved brother of the late Paramanantherajah Theagarajah, the late Rajeswary (née Theagarajah) Murugaratnam, the late Inthireswary (née Theagarajah) Mylvaganam and the late Vanithalakshmi (née Karthigsu) Maheswaran. He was also much loved brother-in-law to the late Kulanthaivelu Satkunananthan and is survived by his everloving sister-in-law Vijayalakshmi (née Thuraiappah) Satkunananthan. He is survived by numerous beloved and closely treasured nieces, nephews, grandchildren, friends and their families.

சபா சபாரத்தினம், கணேஸ் கணேசமூர்த்தி, பாலா பாலசிங்கம் ஆகியோரின் மைத்துனரும்,

காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான பரமானந்தராஜா தியாகராஜா, காலஞ்சென்ற ராஜேஸ்ரவரி முருகரட்ணம், காலஞ்சென்ற இந்திரேஸ்வரி மயில்வாகனம், காலஞ்சென்ற வனிதாலக்ஸ்மி மகேஸ்வரன் ஆகியோரின் அன்புச் சகோதரரும்,

காலஞ்சென்ற குழந்தைவேலு சற்குணானந்தன், விஜயலக்ஸ்மி சற்குணநாதன் ஆகியோரின் மைத்துனரும் ஆவார்.
