Today we remember and honor my beloved sister, my heart, my safe place. Her presence filled our lives with warmth, strength, and a quiet, selfless love. Losing her has left a pain that words can barely touch, a space that can never be filled. Yet even in her absence, she lives on in every memory, every lesson, and every bit of love she gave so freely. As a sister, she was so much more than family. She was my constant, the one who understood me without words, who stood by me through every high and low. Her laughter, her support, her unconditional love carried me more times than she ever knew. Life feels unbearably different without her. She was also a sister to my husband. When no one else was there, she was there for him, offering unwavering support, loyalty, and love without conditions. She stood by him, believed in him, and made him feel seen, accepted, and never alone. That bond will always remain. As an aunt, she loved my children with her whole heart. She didn’t just adore them, she truly saw them, protected them, and cherished them. Knowing my children were loved so deeply by her is a blessing I will hold onto forever, even as it breaks my heart that they won’t have more time together.
