Lankanesan was my batchmate at the Peradeniya University and my colleague in the SLAS. More than that, he was an intimate friend of mine. He and his friend Arulpooranam was very popular at the University during our time. Always smiling and helpful. I was aware that he was a popular GA at Vavuniya. I express my heartfelt condolences to his relatives and wish him Rest in Peace! Arumugam Thillainathan, London, UK.
