யாழ். மயிலிட்டியைப் பிறப்பிடமாகவும், அவுஸ்திரேலியா Sydney ஆகிய இடங்களை வசிப்பிடமாகவும் கொண்ட சுப்பிரமணியம் பொன்மயிலைநாதன் அவர்கள் 26-04-2026 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை அன்று இறைவனடி சேர்ந்தார்.

புவனேஸ்வரி அவர்களின் அன்பு கணவரும்,

மைதிலி, ஜனனி, Dr. கேதீஸ்வரன், ஜனகன் ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு தந்தையும்,

நாகேந்திரன், Dr. வாகீஸ்வரன், Dr. சிவரதி, பிருந்தா ஆகியோரின் அன்புமிகு மாமனாரும்,

லோஜன், தேனிஷா, தேஷா, நிர்மதா, வர்சினி, தேசினி, கேசரன், ஹனிஸ்கா ஆகியோரின் பாசமிகு பாட்டனாரும்,

காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான பத்மாவதி அருமைநாயகம், கருணாவதி, அருணகிரிநாதன், திருப்பரம்கிரிநாதன், Dr. சிவலோகநாதன் மற்றும் சுசீலாவதி ஆகியோரின் ஆருயிர் சகோதரரும் ஆவார்.

It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Subramaniam Ponmailainathan on the 26th of April 2026 in Sydney, Australia, at the age of 90.

Mr. Ponmailainathan was a beloved son of late Mr. Ponnampalam Subramaniam and late Mrs. Sittampalam Thangamuthupillai, beloved son-in-law of late Mr Subramaniam and late Mrs. Thangapillai,

The devoted husband of Mrs. Puvaneswary Ponmailainathan,

The loving father of Mrs. Mythili Naganthiran, Mrs. Janani Vakeeswaran, Dr. Pon Ketheswaran and Mr. Pon Janahan,

The cherished father-in-law of Mr. Naganthiran Somasundram, Dr. Thirunavukaresu Vakeeswaran, Dr. Sivarathy Ketheswaran and Mrs. Brintha Janahan.

He was a caring grandfather of Lorjan, Taynissa, Thesha, Nirmataa, Varshni, Theshnie, Kescharan and Hanishka.

He was also the respected brother of the late Mrs. Pathmavathy Arumainayagam, the late Ms Karunavathy Subramaniam, the late Mr. Arunakirinathan Subramaniam, the late Mr. Thirupparamkirinathan Subramaniam, the late Dr. Subramaniam Sivaloganathan and Mrs. Susheelavathy Nellailingam.

He was known for his pure soul, kind heart, sharp mind and unwavering selflessness. His generosity, wisdom, integrity, passion for Carnatic music, together with his lifelong thirst for knowledge, defined his character. Above all, his enduring love for his family was at the centre of his life.

Mr. Ponmailainathan touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered as a pillar of strength and an inspiration to his family and his community.
