One of his Books has become a Classics in the field. That was re-published after twenty years by the " Routledge Revivals" The name of the book:" Employment, Technolgy and Construction Development with case studies in Asia and China." We all call him Ganesan annai. He is always there for us. Very approachable. Simple personality with humble nature. His passing is a big loss to all of us.
