Miss Sivadevi Velummylum was born in Jaffna Uduppiddy, Jaffna and lived in G Block, Bambalapitiya Flats, Colombo 4 and passed away peacefully on 28th November 2021.

She was the daughter of the Late Mr and Mrs Velummylum.

Sister of the Late Mr Harichandra, the Late Mrs Mahadevi Gnanasegaram, the late Mrs Aikkiadevi Chinniah, the Late Mr Sivakumaravelu, and the Late Mr Thiruchelvarajah.

Sister in Law of Mrs. Sivakumaravelu, the Late Mr Gnanasegaram, the late Mr Chinniah and the late Mrs. Thiruchelvarajah.

Loving aunt of Dr Malathi Sahathevan(Mala), Mr Vasantharajah(Bubby), Mrs Ravini Vigneswaran, Mr Kumaresan, and Mrs Nanthini Mayuran all based in the UK, Mr Dilhan Manoj Kumar, Ms Dilhani Thiruchelvarajah, the late Mr Narendran all based in SriLanka.

Affectionate grand aunt of Araniga, Sharanigayinia, Anusha, Priyadharshini, Ahalya, Hariharan, Amala, Jananni, Myurun, Kuloj, Linodh, Chinmyee and Karthigan.

Proud great-grand aunt of Haresh, Rakshan, Saumyaa, Akshera, Laxmitha, Anoushka, Reya and Laila.

Loving friend and relative of Vigneswaran, Puvana, Priyanka and Samudra, Dr Dushi, Sabi, Ira, Puspha and Siva.

Funeral took place at the Mt Lavinia Cemetery in Colombo on 28th November 2021.
