He worked at Agrarian Services Dept. Srilanka, Ministry of Agriculture- Kids in touch, was a Former District Coordinator at United Nations Trincomalee Human Settlements and Human Rights Projects, UN Habitat & UNDP Programmes, Former District Administrative Coordinator at United Nations Development Programme, UNDP- New York Human Rights and Human Settlements, Former Regional Manager at Ceylon Fertilizer Company, District Coordinator at UNDP- Human Settlements and Human Rights Projects, Manager- Projects and Research at Kit- Childrens' movement for a conflict free society. He was an active committee member of Manipay Hindu College old student association Canada Branch , Sangarathai YMHA and Sangarathai RDS. He was part of the growth of Sangarathai community and religion and supported with Dr.Lambotharan religious activities. He serviced the community as a translator to Tamil Canadians. He was a fantastic speaker who participated in many debates during school times and has the talent to captivate his audience.

ஜெயந்தி அவர்களின் அன்புக் கணவரும்,

கோபிகா, கௌரிகா, மயூரிகா ஆகியோரின் அன்புத் தந்தையும் ஆவார்.

Mr. Sithamparanathan Ganesharatnam was born in Sankarathai, Vattukottai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka lived in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, Scarborough, Toronto, Canada and passed away peacefully on 11th June 2022.

He is the loving son of Ganesharatnam Sithamparapillai and Gowriamma Kanapathipillai.

Loving Husband of Jayanthy Sithamparanthan.

Loving Father of Gobika, Gowrika and Myurika Sithamparanathan.
