I have many fond memories of Uncle Kanesiah visiting our house throughout our childhood . He was one of my dad’s closest friends and I think they spoke nearly every day for many years . He was very different to our Dad, but each brought their own qualities and forged a very strong mutual respect and lasting friendship with each other. Uncle Kanesiah was a humble , considered and good hearted man and this is a great legacy to leave behind . He was one of my favourites from my parents’ friends and much admired and liked by us all. It is with sadness we watch this generation disappear, but their impact stays with us. Our love and wishes go out to Thara, Nanthesh and their families .
