He was my room mate for all four years at Peradeniya University. We met first time around 1968 . He was a good friend to me as well as to my parents. It is a great loss of a good friend. He was very dedicated to his family and he has done good service to many. My parents were v fond of him. We met Rajes and Rani in 2017 in Australia when they joined our batch get together. After we left Uni both went to different places to work. However, still the memories at Uni and the holidays at Jaffna brings back the memories. He was kind hearted and loving person with whom all friends enjoyed his company. Rajes I remember when me and Chutty (my wife )visited you how you all treated us. Even when you were sick the memories of various topics you discussed are very sound. Couldn’t even think of the fact that you have gone this quick. You are a great man with good soul. Six of us were together all four years. We all remember you and will always be with us. During second year training period three of us worked together at Kegalle. All three stayed in one house.
