It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mrs Selva Samuganathan, who passed away peacefully on 24 September 2026, aged 91.

Fondly known as Nangi Acca, Thangachi, Aunty, she was deeply loved and cherished by family and friends across Lawton Road, Manipay, Jaffna, Florida (USA) and Southgate (London).

She will be lovingly remembered for her years of dedication as a teacher at Kaluthara Methodist, Vembadi Girls, J/Vaitheeswara College and Palm Beach County Schools.

She was the beloved daughter of the Late Mr and Mrs Selvaratnam.

She was the beloved wife of the Late Sabaratnam Samuganathan and loving mother to Prakash and Meera, cherished mother-in-law to Dr Thushi and Anandan Arnold.

She was a beloved sister to the Late Selvarani, Late Selvamani, Dr Sellaturay, Selvendran, Dr Selva Ganesh and Selva Thiru.

She was a loving grandmother to Nilesh, Thulasi, Suganya, Santhana and Dharman who will remember her with immense love and gratitude.

She leaves behind a lifetime of love, memories and an enduring legacy in the hearts of all who knew her.

The funeral will be on Sunday 4th Oct 2026. Venue and time information will be announced later.
