I heard Theva paata was among the first Sri lankan Tamils to settle in the UK. No doubt he paved the way for many of our family members to follow suit. I was intrigued by his ability within his generation to converse in both Tamil and English languages/cultures. He was also a kind man. May God grant his soul eternal peace.
