My beloved uncle who I have known since we first came to London in 1962. He was very close to my parents and came to my father's funeral last month. It is a very sad loss for us all. My mum in particular could always count on his wonderful support and warmth which he always gave to both my parents. She always said he is my favourite cousin. A wonderful person, full of dignity, warmth and kindness. We will miss him immensely. We owe so much to the courage of the first generation like mama and my beloved father who helped many and paved the way for the rest of us. It is so very sad for us that only one month after the sad passing of my father we now have the loss of another great pillar of our family and community. My thoughts, prayers and much love to mamie, Theva, Rajee, Sooty, Kavitha, all grand children and families.
