Dear Manika Mama, Thabo, Sanjee, and Pradeep, Our heartfelt condolences on the demise of our dearest Mami. I fondly recall my memories with Mami from her wedding days, then at Lily Avenue in Colombo, Kallady, and again in Colombo. She was always very systematic in everything she did from morning to night, and she did it all with a beautiful smile. Whenever we visited her, she welcomed us warmly and treated us with so much love and care. When they lived in Kallady after the 1983 troubles, Mami was especially keen on the children’s education. She made sure all three children studied well, and today it is clear how successful she was in her efforts, as all of them are in very good positions. Mami was a beautiful person with a kind and generous heart. She lived a full and meaningful life and had the blessing of witnessing the success of her children and grandchildren.
