A legend, late Mr S Ratnapragasam has been the life wire of the Old Students Association of Kokuvil Hindu College- Colombo Branch for 78 years starting from 1944 until his demise yesterday the 8th September 2022. His contributions and services to KHC and Puthu Kovil during his lifetime are unmeasurable. A man with exemplary character and dignity, who held high office in the Central Bank and retired as a Director, yet maintained a very humble life. A living encyclopaedia of Kokuvil and Kokuvil Hindu College, the information he possessed and shared in many occasions about the village and the school are to be treasured. The demise of Mr Ratnapragasam is an irreplaceable loss for Kokuvil Hindu and especially a great loss for the Colombo OSA. Our thoughts are with his family members especially his only son Sukumaran who has been looking after him very carefully until he passed away. May his Soul Attain Moksha ????
