IN LOVING MEMORY RITA VERONICA GNANAPRAGASAM (Saro) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rita Veronica Gnanapragasam (Saro) on October 31, 2024, in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved friend, she will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Ranjith Gnanapragasam; her loving children, daughter Christiline and sons Srijithkumar and Julian; as well as her treasured grandchildren, Issam, Dean, Isaac, Mariam, MaryShana, and Isvithan. Sarojini will also be fondly remembered by her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, Ferosh, Tharshini, and Thanusuya. Saro is now reunited in eternal peace with her beloved mother, Mary Roselyn (Pakyam), father, Jacob Victor Benjamin, and sister, Ranjani. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Florence, Francis, Fr. Bernard, Stephen Gnanasegaram, Chandrasegaram, Shanthasegaram, Ranjasegaram, Vijayasegaram, and Uthayasegaram, along with their spouses, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. The funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Church at 3:00 PM on November 4, 2024, followed by interment at St.Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Our family extends heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support received for our dearly departed Saro. “May her soul rest in eternal peace.”
