We are very sad to hear the news of the passing of your dearest mother. Our heartfelt condolences to the family. I got to know Rajes when I married Nihal and came to reside in Meewatura in 1972. The help and care Rajes gave me as a new mother was immeasurable. We kept in touch with her until we left SL. Nihal and I visited her last a few years ago when she was living in Colombo. I kept in touch with her a few times when she relocated to Jaffna but during the last few years on each visit to SL I tried to call her but with no response. I will always remember Rajes as the most caring and kind person who gave me a lot of support when I was adjusting to life as a new wife and mother Nihal was a colleague of Thurai and we were good friends when you all were at Meewatura and at Old Galaha rd. We live in Toronto now Our thoughts are with you all Nihal and Kamani Wijeysundera
