At the age of 9, my parents (Sellathurai/Annamalar) & my brother visited Sri Lanka in 1962. Uncle Rajaratnam & you welcomed us with your kind hospitality. Today I’m 71 years, & good memories linger about that trip. After my marriage & having had my family, my husband Arul & I have visited you over a period of time. We both have kept in touch, writing letters, until the computer technology caught up & left us to make do with only telephone calls. In 1995, I made a trip with my mum, aunt & cousins to UK. Uncle & you were spending your time with your family over there. Even then, you made sure that we were comfortable & even sent meals to the place where we were staying. Your three boys…Niran, Chitran & Mithran were so hospitable during our stay in UK..a testimony of good upbringing by their mother. The last I caught up with you was in 2014 when I was returning back to Malaysia after a short holiday in Sri Lanka. Aunty Rasa…rest in peace… will miss you a lot🥺
