Sethar mami, as we called her, was a lovely, gentle and kind still vividly remember the wedding in her house in Arali when she got married to our Sethar time has passed since then. Like most displaced Tamil folks she experienced several moves from place to place. But she faced all the moves with resilience and family and I were fortunate to visit her twice on our recent visits to Colombo ,in the Home in Milagiriya Avenue, Bambalapitiya , where she spent her final days .We will all miss her deepest sympathies to Parathan and Amaran.
