Sivalingam is a very modest lady from a decent family from Jaffna and we came to know her, when she immigrated to Canada along with his son-in-law Raveendran and his family. Being Rabin is my beloved younger brother, we had an opportunity of moving with her very closely and found her to be a very affectionate person with the distinct quality of respecting others with due salutes, especially to her only son-in-law’s kin. She is a person of few words but astute in her dealings and activities in her domestic affairs. Her loss is an irreparable and irreplaceable loss for Rabin and his family. Few years back, she gave us a gift for an occasion at our place, “an alarm clock”, which had been an immense value for us to get up in the mornings, whenever we had appointments. Last week, that particular clock, unfortunately, fell down from my side table and stopped working. We were, to our surprise, wondering, why that happened? which might be a foreshadowing event of this great lady’s demise. We take this opportunity to bestow our deepest sympathies to Rabin and his family and wish her Soul to Rest in Peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss.
