With great sadness, this announcement is made of the passing of Ponnampalam Jeyarajasingam (Jeyaraj) on 4 August, 2024 aged 80.

He was born in Kedah Malaysia and spent his early years in Sandilipay, Sri Lanka, and came to England in 1967 and finally made his home in Cheam, Surrey.

Known as Peter to his colleagues, he is the beloved son of the late Mr Arumugam Ponnampalam and Annamma,

Loving son-in-law of the late Dr Chelliah Mylvaganam and Indrani,

Beloved husband of Kaushalya,

Loving father of Pravin and Pramila,

Father-in-law of Myvili and Mayuren,

Loving grandfather of Mathurisha,

Loving brother of Thavamalar(Canada), late Thavapalasingam(London), Pathmamalar(Thavady) and late Rajasingham(London),

Brother-in-law of the late Kulasingam, late Vaheeswary, late Sivapathasundram, late Mangayarkarasi, Dhushyanthy and Kumar Boralessa, late Ajantha and Charmaine Mylvaganam, Shobhana and Dr Ravindran,

Beloved uncle of Thavaraj, Pathmaraj, Kularaj, Sri kanth, Angela, Manjula, Sivarooban, Tharshan and Navin,

Great uncle of Gobinath, Mangalanath, Sangaranath, Bavin, Hariesha, Charlina, Ayushi, Krishen, Arya, Risha, Amaya, Prisni, Guyshni, Gaavish and Riyaah

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
