Shocked and saddened to hear of the death of our dear Bala. He was a devoted and sincere friend whose advice, guidance and support goes beyond words. Having known Bala for more than six decades, his loss is all the more difficult to bear. Though we have been communicating quite often, it makes me sad and guilty that I couldn’t see him in person the last few years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bala’s family.
