The family of Pirapahar "Praba" Thirunavukkarasu announces his peaceful passing on August 14th, 2026. Praba was born in Karampon, Sri Lanka and resided in Germany and Toronto, Canada.

He was the beloved son of late Thirunavukkarasu and late Savithri and the beloved son-in-law of late Ponnampalam and Rajeswari.

Beloved husband of Suganja and loving father of Pranavan, Abeyan, Ahrrabie and Yathavi. Loving father-in-law of Thanusah.

Beloved brother of Gowri, Shankari, Siridhar, Sudhakar, Vanisri, Manohar, Maithili, and Meera.

Beloved brother-in-law, cousin, and uncle to the family.

Praba was a man who was and continues to be celebrated for his generosity and sense of community. He was someone people relied on and found comfort in during times of need. He never failed to bring smiles to those he was surrounded by, being the happiest when spending time with people. He was proud of his Eelam Tamil Canadian identity and wore it on his chest.

Praba's enthusiasm for life was his key to empowering himself and others. With 35 years of service, he had a long and successful career with TForce, where he received love from countless colleagues and clients. He had passion and drive to go above and beyond with everything he did. Praba lived an enormous part of his life sharing milestones with his childhood friends Raju, Suresh, Thiru, Kiruba, Kumar, and their wives, up until his last moments. Their unwavering love, trust and loyalty throughout all their ups and downs was a great example of how great friendships look like.

We deeply feel his absence, but he continues to live in the legacy he leaves behind through every soul he's touched. We move forward continuing his great story in our love and accomplishments. Forever loved, Our Appa.
