Dear Paul, What a glorious life you have led. Hailing from the same street in the City of Colombo in Kollupitiya, you from House Number 50, and myself from Number 38, we have come a long way. Duraisamy teacher was quite a familiar and respected figure down the lane. I was in grade 8 when you were born. I remember you as a baby and then our different paths led us away from each until we met again in Newham you as an active socialist councillor and me as a GP. Your stature as a kind and devoted person who committed himself to work for the community was exemplary. I am sure we will remember you always as a man with a generous heart. Good bye friend.
