Mrs. Nesammah Singarajah went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, surrounded by the love of her family, at her home in Waterloo, Canada, on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the blessed age of 97.

She was born in Manipay, Sri Lanka, and lived in Sanguvely, Sri Lanka and Waterloo, Canada.

She was the loving daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thamboo and the loving daughter-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thambirajah.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Thambirajah Singarajah. She was the loving mother of the late Selvi, Rajan, Raji, Selvyn, Raj, and Shiyamali.

She was the beloved mother-in-law of Clara, the late Dr. Kirupananthan, Rohini, Thayaliny, and the late Manisegaram.

She was the beloved sister of the late Jeyaratanam, the late Emily, the late Rev. Sam Thamboo, the late Arulpiragasam, the late Jeyapakiyam, the late Gnanamma, the late James Thamboo, and the late Thavamani.

She was the beloved sister-in-law of the late Thavamany, the late Suppramaniam, the late Manoranjithamalar, the late Sunthararasa, the late Rajeswari, the late Ponmany, the late Selvarasa, the late Thurairajah, Ratnarajah (Canada), Lohini (Canada), Ariyakunarajah (Sri Lanka), Ratnampal (Sri Lanka), the late Christabelle, the late Selvanayagam, the late Mrs. Thangarani, the late Sabapathy, the late Rasamani, the late Johnrajah, the late Karuna, the late Punitharajah, and the late Gaprialpillai.

She was a beloved grandmother to Roger (Jayany), Shiromi (Surenthar), Christine, Elvyn (Pavithra), Mirushigha, Jason (Sarah), Jadon, Hamza, and Diluxan.

She was a cherished great-grandmother to Aroosh, Nikhinth, Gavin, Thriksha, and Radha. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all her family and friends.
