The news of the demise of Sivaram very sad. We knew Sivaram and siblings from young as our fathers were friends and working for the Post and Telecommunications Department. We grew up as wellawatte boys and Sivapalan and I attended Royal Primary and College together. With 1956 riots we moved to Jaffna. We were lost in touch and again we became batchmates with at the E fac in 1963. I used to meet Sivaram occasionally, he was a religious person and a through gent. May his soul rest in peace and adequate strength for Sivapalan, the family and friends during this difficult period.
