Paatti, not many get the chance to say that their great-grandma is still alive. But I had the chance to call you my paatti even into my adulthood. You showed me that life is long enough to give love to everyone and you gave us all your love without partiality. From fighting with thambi for the remote and dragging us along to your favourite vairavar every evening to remembering my name and calling me out when I saw you 12 years later even at the age of 95! you showed me love is as simple as asking if you ate and that it can be given to everyone without conditions. thank you for being the fierce and forever smiling paatti that you were! thank you for giving us such a large family and a place to call home. I and all 32+ of your great grandkids will miss you! and I’ll be sure to tell all the young ones about all your remote fights!! ??
