I knew Mr Mahendirajah and his family very well from 1974 to 1977. They were good friends and nighbours of my sister Vathany and her husband Iyadurai in Dehiwala. I was living with my sister during these years. Mr Mahendirjah was a smart looking kind hearted person. A He always had a big smile on his face and he was very helpful whenever someone needed him. Most memoberable to me was his walk with the tennis racket to Dehiwala Tennis Club on weekends around 2pm. His sons Ravi and Suren even though much younger than me, became good friends of mine.Suren still keeps good contact with me and I really appreciate that. My condolences to Mrs Mahendirajah and to Ravi and Suren. May his Soul Rest In Peace.
