BIOGRAPHY Srithevan was born in Tellippalai, Northern Jaffna District of Sri Lanka and attended Union College where he was a student in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. He grew up a Hindu under humble upbringings till he found employment in Mechanical Maintenance at the Saudi Arabian Oil Company for over four years. He spoke of fond memories from his time in Saudi Arabia alongside his closest friend, the Late Mr Anthony Calistus. It was after this Srithevan met his Wife, Jasintha, a matrimony that would last 31 beautiful years taking them from Sri Lanka to London, United Kingdom. After a year of marriage, they bore their first son, Kevin Srithevan and a few years later would bring the birth of their second son, Shathan Srithevan. Srithevan initially followed his passion in Engineering by starting his own business as a Mechanic and went on to own and direct over 5 businesses spanning two decades of dedication, hard work and success. He was a coach at Kenton Cricket Club where he coached a number of young children in the sport of Cricket where his teams would go on to win National Championships and land his son, Shathan Srithevan, a place in the Middlesex County Cricket Team – one of his proudest achievements. During his final years, his two sons took the responsibility of fulfilling his dreams in continuing his businesses and found comfort in working for the local council as a Transport Driver for children in Special Needs Education. He was a blessed soul that shone love and care to all those around him and will be remembered by all as a gentle, kind and loving man.
