Even though it’s sad to lose a great personality from our village but it gives consolation when we celebrate his great life. Manipay is renowned for producing great erudite and business fraternity who have gone and done well around the world. On the same light Kulothugam Rajakulasingam diverted his talent onto sports and later converted that innate talent and discipline into business where he has done extremely well. His house is not far from ours and if you enter from the back door of our land where his family come to pray to our home-temple. There is no one in Manipay who will not know his family because his father was police Vidhan (village headman) an old title during the British empire where enormous powers were vested on the title(I know well of the title because my grandfather too was the same) and he was a famous body bodybuilder who won the coveted Mr Jaffna in 1976 and many of the local boys trained with him and it was a spectacle to see him grace our village with his handsome frame.
