I was a close friend of Raj's for many years during my banking days. Even after I retired as Raj's Commercial Account Manager in 2006 we continued to get together a couple of times a year for breakfast at Smitty's. I had the utmost respect for Raj and all that he had accomplished since he relocated to Winnipeg from Sri Lanka many years ago. He was an extremely hard worker, very smart and helped so many fellow countrymen. For someone who was so into fitness, it's hard to fathom how he could be taken by such an insidious disease' ! He will be truly missed by many. RIP Raj.
