அன்னார், காலஞ்சென்ற ஞானசேகரம் சண்முகம், பேரின்பவல்லி தம்பதிகளின் ஏக புத்திரனும், சிவகுருநாதன் சரோஜினிதேவி தம்பதிகளின் அன்பு மருமகனும்,

சங்கீதா(துளசி) அவர்களின் அன்புக் கணவரும்,

கணபதிப்பிள்ளை, தையல்நாயகி ஆகியோரின் அன்புப் பேரனும்,

காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான விநாயகமூர்த்தி, சரஸ்வதிதேவி ஆகியோரின் பெறாமகனும்,

ஸ்ரீபதிதாசன், சிவா கணபதிப்பிள்ளை, ஜெகதீஸ்வரி ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மருமகனும்,

சுபஜோதி, இந்திரஜோதி, பத்மஜோதி, மங்களஜோதி, நிமலநடேசன், நடனஜோதி, சுபாசினி(நியூசிலாந்து), காலஞ்சென்ற பாஸ்கரலிங்கம் ஆகியோரின் உடன்பிறவாச் சகோதரரும்,

சத்யகுமார், பிரியா, ரதி(California), நளாயினி(கொழும்பு), கனகசபை(அவுஸ்திரேலியா), சண்முகம்(சின்னா), டோட்டி(அவுஸ்திரேலியா), இந்திரா, அன்சலா(சிங்கப்பூர்) ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மைத்துனரும் ஆவார்.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kokulan (Gopi) Shanmugam, who left his worldly life to reunite with God on February 3, 2025. Born in Kaddudai - Manippai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka, Kokulan later made his home in Canada, where he lived a life full of love, faith, and kindness.

He was the only child of the late Gnanasegaram Shanmugam and Perinpavalli, and the beloved husband of Sangeetha (Thulasi).

He was the cherished son-in-law of Sivagurunathan and Sarojinithevi.

Kokulan was the grandson of Kanapathipillai and Thaiyalnayagi and the nephew of Vinayagamoorthy and Saraswathithevi, Sripathithasan, Siva Kanapathipillai, and Jegatheeswari.

He will be dearly missed by his cousins, including Supajothy, Indirajothy, Pathmajothy, Mangalajothy, Nimalanadesan, Nadanajothy, Subashini (New Zealand), late Baskaralingam, Sathyakumar, Priya, Rathi (California), Nalayini (Colombo), Kanagasabai (Australia), Shanmugam (Chinna), Daughty (Australia), Indira, and Anjala (Singapore).

Kokulan will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
