He was the son late Alice and late Edward Saravanamuttu (Retired Head-Master), 

Son-in-law of late Faith Sellamma and Alfred Catherasoo.

Loving father of Irene Suganthi (Sugi), Christa Preethi (Manju), and Father-in-law of Astaire (Ranga) Arudpiragasam.

Deeply missed grandfather of Anita Shelomi, and Ivan Andrew.

Affectionate brother of Margret Sellamma(Canada), late Anna Sugirtham, late Dr. Wesley Arulaiya, Stanley Devarajah(Batticaloa), late Jane Lalitha, and Hepsiba Vanitha(Batticaloa).

Beloved brother-in-law of late George Gopalasingam, late Vijayarajah, Jane Vasanthy(Batticaloa), late Stella Logananthaluxmi, Gnanapragasam(Batticaloa), Mary(Mathy- Toronto), Flora (Pillai- Australia), and Jeevamani(Jeevi- Montreal).
