Being the last person to have shared treasured moments with you less than an hour before you left all of us I am still in denial. We had a great evening on Monday night catching up where we left and filling gaps in our paths in life. We went down memory lane talking about the good times we have had, our classmates at Royal College and several other mutual friends we had. We even talked about retirement and life after retirement. All in all it was a pleasant and enjoyable evening for both of us and we pledged to keep in touch more often. I know you thoroughly enjoyed the evening and you even thanked me for contacting you that night for dinner. I sent you a thank you note and the photograph we took the next day without knowing that there is no one to respond on the other side. This is an example of how uncertain life is and is very hard on me. One moment we were having an enjoyable evening and within an hour you are not with us. On the positive side I know you went with positive thoughts and great memories of many people that have touched your life over the years and I like to keep it that way my friend.
