Mr. Kandasamy Wijayaratnam(Kiraniyar Peran), born in Columbuthurai West, Jaffna and a resident of Mantes-la-Ville, France, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025.

He was the cherished son of the late Kandasamy and late Ratnam , and the son-in-law of late Kulanthaivelu and late Kanmany.

A devoted husband to Wijayaratnam Latchumi Devi, he will be lovingly remembered by his children Suganthini, Suganthan, and Sutharsun (Johnny), as well as his daughters-in-law Annabelle and Laetitia.

He was a dear brother to Vijayaluxmy, Thirugnanasampanthanr, Satkurunathan, and Gnanaparany, and a caring brother-in-law to Santhananayangam, the late Sritharan, Jeyarany, Thiruwarudselvi, Saraswathy Rajendran, Nadarajah, Thiyagarajah, Rajeswary Annarajah, and Maheswary(Kunchan) Theivendran.

He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kiran James, Noah, Emma, and Maylis.
