Kunchiaija thatha was an extraordinary and exceptional person in many ways. He was caring and lovely. He always served his guests with respect and dignity. He always took time to talk to me whenever I came to London. He, together with his wife ( Kunchi ammamah), helped many Tamils who came to London during 70s. I will never forget they brought me a dhol and tabla from India in 1992. He dedicated more than half of his life to serve and establish Sri Lankan Tamil Hindu society and religion in the UK. May his soul rest in peace
