My Father’s Faith

My father never taught me how to pray with words
He lived his faith from day to day
And in his life I saw and felt God’s care
Greater than words could ever put it there
His voice was always gentle, kind and firm
His hand worn with honest work well done
The lessons that he thought I could not learn
From books or memory
But by his own example in the living of each day
He showed me heaven.... 

 As we grieve the loss of our beloved one we would like to take this time to thank all the relatives, friends, neighbours and people who have been helpful and supportive during this difficult time. We deeply appreciate the flowers, wreath and sympathy we have received and all the condolence messages sent whether that be in person, through phone calls, emails and social media. We thank you for sharing your kind words through memories and stories and the whole family appreciates the support during this time.
