I was deeply saddened to hear of Giri’s passing. While we weren’t particularly close, our paths crossed often enough for me to feel the warmth and kindness he always brought to even the briefest conversations. There was something genuine in the way Giri would take a moment to stop, smile, and share a few words. It’s a small gesture, but one that left a lasting impression. He will be remembered for that quiet presence and the subtle yet meaningful connections he made with so many of us. My thoughts are with his loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing him more closely.
