My condolences. I came to know Giri within the sacred walls of our Ealing Kanagathurkkai Amman Temple almost 25 years ago. Day after day, I was watching him sitting quietly beside God Vairavar's Sanctorum. His devotion was unwavering, his presence always been humble. One day he approached me in the Temple with warm and sincerity, introduced himself, and said "If you ever need any help -whatever the nature of the help- I am here for you, to enhance the spiritual values and for the betterment of the welfare of our holy Temple." That simple heartfelt offer was the beginning of his selfless service to our sacred space. When we struggled with planning permission and faced obstacles in our efforts to build the Meditation Hall- it was Giri who stepped forward with determination. He took personal time to assist us introducing a professional expert, an Architect, with whom he had been associated and worked. Through Giri's connections and dedication, he helped guide us in the right direction ensuring that our vision became a reality, His commitment alongside that of our Trustees and community, led to the successful construction of the Meditation Hall- a structure that stands today as a testament to his efforts, his generosity, and his love for our holy Temple. He believed completely in God. His faith was unshakable, his devotion sincere. Even in his final moments, he held firm in the belief that God Muruga would grant him more time to continue his services. But in our faith, Lord Shiva is the Creator, Protector, and Destroyer, and Giri's life had already been determined by the Creator and is being drawn toward Shiva's divine embrace, where his soul will find eternal peace. Though he has departed from this world, his memory and legacy will forever remain in our hearts. We offer our prayers for his soul rests at the feet of Lord Shiva.
my deepest condolences
