I am so saddened to hear of Manicks passing. He was such a fun, respectful and sympathetic guy on the DARA tennis court, he and I would often partner up against Frank and Gary, and I recall the day when we finally beat them. He had an amazing forehand, and such a gentlemen in both victory and defeat. I was just communicating with him earlier this year, hoping to have a visit at DARA for old times sake. I drove him to the bus stop on several occasions. He went out of his way more than anyone else to get to DARA which says the club meant as much to him as he did to it. My deepest sympathy goes out to his wife and family. He will be missed!
