கலைச்செல்வி, நகுலன் ஆகியோரின் அன்பு தாயாரும்,

இக்னாசியோ, நட்டாஷா ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மாமியாரும்,

லோகசுந்தரி, மாணிக்கவாசகர் ஆகியோரின் அன்புச் சகோதரியும்,

மனோரஞ்சிதன், சுசிலா ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மைத்துனியும்,

சு.ராஜலிங்கம், மா.வைத்திலிங்கம், ஜீ.கணேஸ்வரன், சு.முருகையா, ப.சிவபிரகாசம், ம.ஜெயதேவன் ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மைத்துனியும்,

யோகான், சமி, மாயா ஆகியோரின் அப்பம்மாவும்,

ராதா மரியா, ரபேல் கணேஷ் ஆகியோரின் அன்பு அம்மம்மாவும் ஆவார்.

Mrs. Kamalasundari (Radha) Saravanamuttu died peacefully and surrounded by love aged 75 on the 5th of October in Hamilton, Ontario after a brief illness.

Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Radha was the precious daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Amirthalingam and daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. V. Subramaniam (Alvai).

She was the beloved wife of Subramaniam Saravanamuttu, treasured sister of Logasundari and Manickavasagar, and sister-in-law to Manoranjithan and Susila.

She was the dearest sister-in-law of Mr. S. Rajalingam, Mrs. M. Vaithilingam, Mrs. G. Ganeswaran, Mrs. S. Murugaiah, Mrs. P. Sivapragasam and Mrs. M. Jeyadevan.

She was the devoted and adored Amma of Kalaichelvi and Nagulan, Mother-in-law to Ignacio and Natasha, Appamma to Yohan, Sami and Maya, and Ammamma to Radha Maria and Rafael Ganesh. Radha will also be deeply missed by her loving nieces and nephews, many family members and friends both in Canada and dispersed across the globe.

Working as a stenographer, Radha met her husband of 51 years in Colombo. Together, they raised their family, living in different parts of the world including Perth, Port Moresby, Montreal and Mount Hope. She was dedicated to her children, and shared with them her deeply held belief in education and consistent hard work.

Throughout her life, Radha was guided by compassion and religious faith, which compelled her to seek out and help those in need. In later years, she centred her life on her grandchildren, raising some of them, and delighting in their individual personalities, achievements, music and mischief. Radha shared with them her creativity and considerable skill in sewing, embroidery, baking and Tamil cookery, and shaped their lives with stories, crafts, humour and wisdom from her own childhood.

Profoundly missed and mourned, Radha will continue to guide and inspire her family who remain deeply grateful for her life and blessed by her presence in theirs.
