Dearest Dadda, It breaks my heart to know that you are no longer in this world. I am so lucky to have spent nineteen years by your side as your eldest grandchild. I am so grateful for the love and affection you have showered on me. I will never forget our crazy conversations about food, the stories you shared with me, the advice you gave me about school, and the lullabies you sang when I was a baby. All of these memories I will treasure forever. I wish I had gotten to spend more time with you and let you know how much I love you and how thankful I am each and every single day to be the granddaughter of such a wonderful person. Moreover, the faith I have today in Jesus, and the reason behind my strength today was all taught to me by you, Dadda. Not only did you teach me how to live in this world, you taught me how to have faith even when the world seems like it’s falling apart. And even now, it’s so hard to wake up every day knowing I cannot see your face, but the faith you taught me, gives me strength to keep going. I will forever cherish every little moment I spent with you and cannot wait to see you again in heaven. Thank you for believing in me always, I love you more than I can put into words, Dadda.
