Amala (sister) 25 MAY 2021 Canada

With a saddened heart, I share here the sweet memories of loving you, my dear brother: Anna, where do I start? From childhood memories, to the day I bid goodbye to you on 20th June 1973, when I took the flight to Canada to join Iswaraj, you were everything to me until then. - from holding hands and running around with you wherever you went, and whatever you did - as a teenager you shared all the fun like taking me shopping, going to the ice cream parlour, to movies, church, piano classes and teaching me to drive etc.... - driving us to school and picking us up -- my friends would wait to see you pull over in the brand new Peugeot 504 you proudly drove - girls had a crush on you, saying "Handsome Guy" is here -- you were tall, fair and good-looking - I saw you blush when they'd say "cheerio" to you -- my best friend even proposed to you. You stood by your discipline and never wanted to let down your parents, however. You must have had Rannes in your mind since we kept teasing you. I was so proud of you for that, and at the same time a little disappointed for my friend's broken heart. I can go on and on. Those were the days. I miss you so dearly. Then the gap between '73 and your immigration to Canada in '95, you and Ranes created a beautiful family of your own. I was so thrilled to see you at Mirabel Airport, but to my disappointment, you soon moved to Ontario for the well being of your family. You did a wonderful job taking care of your family, and enjoyed life to the fullest with God's blessing. Your duty towards God was so admirable, and He in His time called you home to rest in peace with Him. Until we meet, Anna, your memories will be cherished and remembered, affectionately. Love, Amala
