We were batch mates at the Faculty of Medicine Peradeniya. Iyanga was also my group mate. We have lost a true and sincere friend. I remeber with nostalgia our batch meeting after 45 years. Iyanga was the co-ordinator along with late Athula Kahandaliyanage. Iyanga was a sincere genuine chap. Qietly well spoken. Alwyas polite. He had a fine sense of humour. May be a little like his older brother Surgeon Dr.V. Karuneinathan who taught us surgery in the 3rd year. Those were fun days. Iyanga would call me on and off from UK. The last time he was in Sri Lanka he called me to say he would not be able to visit me in Kandy. We all will miss you. We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife and children
I hardly find it difficult to accept the realities of life, I cannot imagine the loss of Dr.Iyngaran ,he visited us when he came to Canada with his wife Sivakamy and his two loving children ,again...
