Mr. Gunaratnam Ramachandran, born in Jaffna Thirunelvelly and lived in Canada Scarborough, passed away peacefully on Saturday, 5 September 2026.

He was the beloved husband of Vijayaluxmy Ramachandran (Udupiddy). 

Son of the late Gunaratnam and Sowpakiyavathy, and son-in-law of the late Satkurunathan and Raasamma.

Loving father of Prashanthy (Saiswaralaya Music Academy), Thurshanthy, Premashanthy, Gajashanthy, Sastickumaran and Saikumaran.

Father-in-law of Niranjan, Mohanathas, Suresh, Ahilan, Thayani and Anushiya.

Brother of Vasanthamallika, Sarojinithevi, Jegatheeswari, Balachandran, Thillachandran, Sakunthala and Kumarachandran.

Brother-in-law of Raveendran, Subendran, Kulendran, the late Vettivelu, Sathyaluxmy and Nithiyaluxmy.

Loving grandfather of Navanith, Pirajith, Nithesh, Niluxika, Ashmigha, Jaishwin, Jainisha, Ajeesh, Santhosh, Sashinthan and Sahityan.

The funeral will take place on 13 September 2026.
