My recollection of Mrs: Grace Subramaniam - my wife’s aunt. I have heard in many funerals people refer the phrase “Celebration of Life” but today I am able to say Mrs: Grace Subramaniam - A centurion really lived her life to the fullest. Even though we will miss her and feel her void, we all are happy that we enjoyed her company over the years in many ways. She was quiet in nature, soft spoken but gained the respect of all ages. She was a tower of strength for many in the family. Her life was a testimony for many specially for the younger generation. There are many lessons we can learn from her life but the most important page I take from her life is the commitment, sacrifice and love she had for her family. Loosing her husband in a very young age and taking a decision to be a single mother to bring her two twin boys into two fine professionals with strong Christian Values was not an easy task. Her faith was unshakable, and her relationship with God was special. She exemplified and demonstrated true Christian values in her day to day life. We thank God for giving her a long, healthy and quality life till her last days. She was independent in her own affairs and was alert physically and mentally - A rare story to hear these days. This is a true testimony for a well- lived life. We will miss you here in this earth but you will be rejoicing with the Lord. It is worth mentioning that her long and healthy life can be attributed to her Sons and family who took every care to make her comfortable and happy in this world. Periamammie, I will miss your fond good byes and constant reminder to take care of my health. You are a classy and a remarkable lady whom I admired silently all these days. I am very grateful to experience you in my life.
