Our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Peria Mama. I was a small boy when you got married and I can still remember the day. Can remember how she looked after us soon after the cyclone in 1978 coming to Batticaloa with so much of groceries and ration food, working for sometime in the CWE Batticaloa helping the staff and people affected. Although her health was deteriorating, she still cooked a delicious lunch for us when we visited her in 2017 in London. Had the best crab curry that day. I have looked upon her for her strong mindset and the way she took it up knowing that her days are counted. Few weeks before she died when we spoke to her , she said that she had lived a good life, travelled around, met people and have no regrets. She was ready to go.
