With great sadness that we received the sad news of Gnanes' end of life. He was my classmate, batchmate and roommate, before and after Bloemfontaign. I will cherish many wonderful memories of our experiences together over 50 years never to forget. May he rest in peace in a better place without earthy sufferings.
